Cinnamon Good for You

Who knew that something most of us have in our pantry could be good for us. Researchers have found that cinnamon can help control type 2 diabetes. In a study done by German researchers blood samples were collected from 65 adults with type 2 diabetes.The volunteers were given a capsule containing 1 gram of cinnamon powder or a placebo 3 times a day for 4 months. Those that received the cinnamon had a decease in blood sugar readings of about 10%. Researchers did warn that large amounts can be dangerous.
